ISO 9001 remediation support for manufacturers.

Close what the assessment found. Fixed-scope projects against named gaps: documentation that matches the floor, process design, an internal audit program that runs without you chasing it, corrective action discipline that survives the next surveillance visit.

Who this is for

Answered is not closed.

Three minors from the last visit. Corrective actions written, root cause thin, evidence of effectiveness missing. The next auditor will not ask whether you responded. They will ask whether it worked.

Remediation projects

Fixed scope, fixed fee, against named gaps.

Remediation is sold as defined projects, each against a gap that a gap assessment, an internal audit, or your registrar has already named. The deliverable is the gap closed, with the evidence a registrar will ask for.

  • Documentation that matches the floor.Procedures and work instructions rewritten from how the work is actually done, with the people who do it. Lean enough to be followed, complete enough to be audited.
  • Process design for the clauses that produce findings.Control of nonconforming output under 8.7, calibration and measurement traceability under 7.1.5, supplier evaluation and re-evaluation under 8.4, production control under 8.5.1.
  • Internal audit program stand-up.A program and a schedule that run without you chasing them.
  • Corrective action discipline.A CAPA process that reaches root cause, proves effectiveness, and survives the next surveillance visit. Old open items closed properly or closed out with a reason.
What it costs

A fixed fee per project, quoted in writing.

Remediation projects

Fixed scope, fixed fee, one named gap or a bundle of them. The scope is written from the finding, so there is nothing to interpret and nothing to change-order. If the gap is not closed with evidence, the project is not done.

Questions

Before you book.

How is this different from the gap assessment?

The gap assessment finds the gaps and grades them. Remediation closes them, one defined project per gap or bundle of gaps, scoped from the findings. They are sold separately, or in sequence.

Is remediation a retainer?

No. Each project has a fixed scope and a fixed fee against named gaps. When the gap is closed with evidence, the project is done.
